Last Friday was our debut, CD release! It took a lot of planning, a staple gun, a string contraption, a keg, a radio station, a walnut woman, some sublime designs and a lodge to pull it off. But it all came together, and it was memorable to say the least.
WFHB sponsored the bash that included regularly aired artists the White Lightning Boys and Bobbie Lancaster, two of Bloomington’s most indispensable musical acts. Bobbie played songs from her new live album, and the White Lightning Boys played a block of songs from their debut release, “Barefoot Nelly.” It all lead to us showcasing songs from “New World Orphan.” We also played a brand new MST original AND the first MST/Bobbie Lancaster collaboration, which was something special.
